Teeth Whitening and Bleaching
Tooth bleach is a peroxide-based gel used to remove stain from teeth resulting in a whiter, brighter smile. In-office treatments such as Zoom!® utilize high concentrations of peroxide to provide significant results in approximately an hour. This is commonly referred to as a “boost,” which is accompanied by 3-4 days of take-home whitening. Take-home bleaching systems utilize lower concentrations of peroxide-based gels placed in custom fitted trays. Worn daily for 2-4 hours, take-home whitening requires approximately 2 weeks to produce results equivalent to the in-office method. Both systems provide exceptional whitening results and can be easily maintained in years to come.
